Xinjie is the Senior Director, Health Workforce Analytics at British Columbia Ministry of Health and an Adjunt Professor at the University of Alberta. She has a PhD in Psychology and an MBA from the University of Alberta. Xinjie’s research relates to child well-being with a strong background in policy-relevant research using administrative data. In 2007, Xinjie was appointed as the inaugural Director of the Child and Youth Data Laboratory (CYDL), a cutting-edge initiative conducted in partnership with the Government of Alberta.

Land Acknowledgement

The Evaluation Capacity Network is housed at the University of Alberta, primarily located on the territory of the Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7 and 8 and homeland of the Métis.
