Reem is a graduate student completing her Master of Arts in Community Engagement within the School of Public Health, University of Alberta. Prior to her graduate studies, Reem majored in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and minored in Development Studies with a Liberal Arts undergraduate degree. She has a voluntary experience in working with the Syrian community and doing research with the Aga Khan institutions in early childhood development and related areas. Reem supports research activities with the ECN through her graduate practicum placement. In her free time, Reem loves to paint portraits and visit new places.
