Nashid Rahman is an emerging evaluator and development practitioner with widespread experience in the development sector and project management. He holds a Bachelor's in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master's in Development Studies from Bangladesh, where he built a strong foundation in community-based participatory research, development policies, and program implementation. With five years at an international non-profit, he collaborated with national and global stakeholders to implement community-based early childhood development and adolescent programs, including a low-cost childcare model for equity-deserving communities in Bangladesh.
Currently, he is pursuing a thesis-based Master of Arts in Community Engagement (MACE) at the University of Alberta, focusing on community-engaged research and program evaluation in Early Learning and Child Care, particularly among refugees and immigrants. Passionate about social impact, he strives to connect community voices with policy to create meaningful change while actively supporting newcomer families and fostering community connections.
