Mischa studied Human Ecology at the University of Alberta, and is currently completing her Master’s of Arts in Community Engagement at her alma mater. Her previous experience in the non-profit sector working with newcomers fuelled her research interests in the social capital needs of refugee groups. Mischa also enjoys running, travelling, and being an auntie.

Land Acknowledgement
