Liz served as the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area from 1979 to 2024. For over forty years, Liz has dedicated her career to improving the lives of children through expanding and enhancing mentoring programs and relationships at the local (Edmonton), provincial (Alberta), national (Canada), and international levels. In 2019, Liz was one of four finalists for the Lifetime MENTOR USA Achievement Award.

Land Acknowledgement

The Evaluation Capacity Network is housed at the University of Alberta, primarily located on the territory of the Néhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7 and 8 and homeland of the Métis.
