Michelle is enrolled in the MPH program with a specialization in health promotion. Michelle is interested in participatory based evaluations and qualitative research methods, as well as designing strategies that support and promote evaluative thinking in organizations. Through her studies, she has had opportunities to work with community organizations to develop evaluation plans which has included experiences with principles-based evaluations, public policy evaluation, and decolonizing evaluation. She also recently participated in the Max Bell School of Public Policy Evaluation Capacity Case Challenge where she worked with a team to develop an evaluation capacity building strategy for the City of Kingston. Outside of her studies, Michelle is an avid runner and enjoys the quiet pace of rural Saskatchewan where she lives with her two children, husband, and cat.
